Summary

Chapter 1

In the first chapter of Sticker Shapes Christmas – Usborne Minis, the reader is introduced to the book’s main character, Sarah. Sarah is an eight-year-old girl who loves anything to do with Christmas, from decorating her family’s Christmas tree to baking holiday treats. In this chapter, Sarah dreams of designing and creating her own Christmas stickers. She collects all the materials she needs, including a picture of her favorite Christmas tree, red glitter, and special scented glue. With the help of her family, Sarah eventually creates her very own sticker designs, and proudly displays them on her Christmas tree.

Chapter 2

The second chapter of Sticker Shapes Christmas – Usborne Minis sees Sarah busy at work making more stickers in a new, festive shape. With an array of different materials to choose from, Sarah embarks on a mission to produce beautifully-crafted shaped sticker decorations. As she starts experimenting, Sarah learns all sorts of techniques, from using scissors for precise edges to glueing items such as pom-poms onto her shapes.

Chapter 3

In chapter three of Sticker Shapes Christmas – Usborne Minis, Sarah learns how to create a sticker set. She has to decide on the size and shapes of her stickers, and also the amount of colours to use for her designs. She experiments with different combinations until she decides on a final product, which she is delighted with. For the finishing touches, Sarah wraps the stickers in tissue paper, ties them up with a bow and voila – her own homemade Christmas sticker set is born!

Chapter 4

Chapter four takes Sarah’s newly-created sticker set one step further. She learns how to package it up nicely for her friends and family to enjoy. She picks out festive wrapping paper, ribbons and tags, and carefully wraps each sticker set, making sure to tie each one with a pretty ribbon and attach a personalised tag.

Chapter 5

In the final chapter of Sticker Shapes Christmas – Usborne Minis, Sarah gets to share her creations with her friends and family. She hands out her personalised sticker sets at school, visits local shops to sell them, and even posts them off to distant relatives. Everyone is delighted with the gift, and the next thing Sarah knows, people are asking her to make more of her signature designs! As the Christmas season draws to a close, Sarah happily reflects on her newest craft venture - a great success!
