Summary

Chapter 1: Luna Goes to the Library

Luna loves going to the library and it's her most favorite day of the week. Everywhere she looks there are books to explore and possibilities to discover. She quickly runs up to her favorite librarian and grabs the book she had reserved the week prior, "The Magic Treehouse: Dinosaurs Before Dark". She then finally gets to find a cozy corner to settle down and get lost in the magical world of dinosaurs.

Chapter 2: Luna Explores

Luna has plans to explore every inch of the library. She visits the children's section, where she searches for a new book to bring home for overnight reading. She then makes her way to the adult reference section, where she borrows a dictionary, eager to learn some new words. Once her exploration is complete, she stops by the computer lab to type up some of her creative stories from her recent adventures.

Chapter 3: Luna Rides the Elevator

Luna loves anything related to elevators, which is why she gets so excited when she takes her first ride on the library's elevator. She is very impressed when the doors open and she is brought to a different level of the library. To her surprise, Luna discovers a section for puzzles, books about science, and even furniture for comfortable reading.

Chapter 4: Luna Helps Out

After she explores the library, Luna decides to help out and volunteer to assist with tasks. She helps unpack and sort books for the library’s new library cards, and even decides to get involved in the book sale day. She even gets creative and helps the librarians assemble a brand new collection of board games to offer for free to visitors.

Chapter 5: Luna Helps a Friend

Luna notices one of her friends has had a hard day and is struggling with a research project for school. She knows the task seems daunting and takes the time to explain how to search and find the resources the friend needs. Luna coaches her friend through the process and helps her find the right books to get her research project done.

Chapter 6: Luna Departs the Library

At the end of the day Luna is ready to go home. Before she leaves, she takes some time to thank the librarians for all their help throughout the week. She then makes a promise to herself to visit again soon and starts to head off home with her books and newfound knowledge about the library.
