Where's Spot? is a children’s book written by Eric Hill and published in 1980. It follows the story of Spot, a puppy, as he is looking for his mother Sally. In this delightful story, readers will enjoy lifting the flaps on each spread to find out where Spot is hiding.

Chapter 1: The title of this chapter is “Spot’s Mummy is Hiding.” We meet Spot’s mother Sally as she hides in the kitchen behind the refrigerator, which is where Spot starts his search for her. Spot curiously wanders through the house looking for her in various places, such as under the bed, in the wardrobe, and behind the curtains. In the end, Spot discovers Sally hiding in the kitchen and gives her a big hug.

Chapter 2: In this chapter Spot heads outside and searches for Sally in the garden under a secret rock, inside a tree trunk, behind the shed, and in a flower pot. After each place, Spot discovers his mum isn't there and keeps looking. At the end Sally is found hiding on the swing and Spot jumps into her arms.

Chapter 3:The title of this chapter is “Spot’s Mummy is in the Park.” It's time for Spot to explore outside the house and his search takes him to the park. He looks under the slide, swings, and in the bushes where Sally isn't. Finally, Spot discovers his mother hiding in the roundabout and they have a big cuddle.

Chapter 4: This is the fourth and final chapter in the book and the title is “Spot Finds His Mummy!” Sally and Spot wander around the town, looking for Sally in various places. Spot looks in the post office, the library, and the pet shop, but Sally isn't there. Finally, Spot hears his Mummy's voice coming from inside the fire station and rushes in to find her. He gives Sally a huge hug and they head home together.
