Summary

Chapter 1: The Wheel of Time Turns

* The story begins in the Two Rivers, a small village in the remote country of Andor.
* Three young villagers, Rand al'Thor, Matrim Cauthon, and Perrin Aybara, encounter Moiraine Damodred, an Aes Sedai (a powerful sorceress) from the White Tower.
* Moiraine senses that one of the boys is the Dragon Reborn, a prophesied hero who will save the world from the Dark One.

Chapter 2: The Eye of the World

* Moiraine takes Rand, Mat, and Perrin to the White Tower in Tar Valon, where they begin their training as Aes Sedai.
* Along the way, they are attacked by Trollocs, monstrous creatures serving the Dark One.
* The boys learn that the Eye of the World, a powerful artifact that can either save or destroy the world, is located in the Mountains of Mist.

Chapter 3: The Great Hunt

* The boys embark on a quest to find the Eye of the World.
