Chapter 2: Encountering Beetlejuice

Chapter 3: The Exorcism Attempt

Beetlejuice devises a plan to exorcise Lydia using a potion and a song. As the Maitlands reluctantly participate, chaos ensues. The potion creates a disgusting monster that terrorizes the house, while Beetlejuice's song summons a horde of sandworms.

Example:
The potion transforms into a giant, grotesque worm that crawls out of the bathtub and chases the Maitlands through the house. Lydia, drawn to the commotion, becomes terrified and runs for cover.

Chapter 4: Otho's Return

Just when the situation seems hopeless, a new ghost arrives: Otho, a former faith healer who has been trapped in the attic for decades. Otho's wisdom and compassion help the Maitlands find a way to communicate with Lydia and ultimately resolve the conflict.

Example:
Otho, initially appearing as a decrepit old man, reveals his true nature as a powerful ally. He teaches the Maitlands how to use their ghost abilities and guide Lydia towards acceptance of their existence.
